Our working-out from home guide

With gyms and workout studios being closed at the moment we need to resort to WFH (working out from home). Not to worry, we made a guide with our favourite workout platforms that will keep you moving during the pandemic.

While the motivation may be a little bit harder to find, there are plenty of good options to get your body moving at home. If you’re not a fan of long walks, bike rides or jogging, these platforms offer you great workouts that can be done in the comfort and intimacy of your home. I hope to inspire you to workout because of the way it makes you feel, therefore I encourage you to only move in ways that you love.

  1. Melissa Wood Health App

Melissa has always been a big inspiration to me; she has an amazing energy and offers low impact workouts designed for everyone. No matter your fitness level, I can guarantee you will find a workout on her app that you will love. The video’s range from meditation to yoga to pilates and require minimal or no equipment. For 9,99 dollars a month you get access to a wide range of workouts that can be done whenever you have the time for it. All the friends I recommended it to have loved it so far.

2. Popsugar Fitness Youtube Channel

Popsugar is another channel that offers workouts for every fitness level. Their Youtube channel is free and has offers hundreds of workouts videos with their different motivating instructors. I love doing these workouts especially on holiday because they offer many workouts that require zero equipment and minimal space, which is great when you want to stay in your hotel room.

3. Braav Body Guide

The Braav Body Guide is a newly launched workout guide which you can find right here. They offer a running guide, workout video’s and circuit training. And as a plus, you can find some Humbly recipes in the guide as well. It is available on their website for 25 euros.

4. Yoga Factory Zoom Classes

Yoga Factory has always been my favourite studio in my hometown, Antwerp. During the pandemic they have switched to live Zoom classes. The great thing about booking a Yoga Factory class, even without being able to go their studio? Being committed to the workout you booked and getting some live motivation from one of their amazing instructors. They offer barre, yoga, pilates and more. Find more information on their website.

5. Muse of Greens Facebook Group

Muse of Greens is a platform inspiring you to live healthy and get moving. The founder Marie offers a wide range of workout video’s and more on her private member Facebook page ‘Muse of Sweat’. Keep an eye out for the occasional workouts she shares on her Instagram page as well.

6. Deliciously Ella App

This app, that is available for just 0,99 pence a month, is filled with amazing varying workouts. They offer yoga, meditations, pilates but also more intense workouts, so there is something for everyone on there. Besides the workouts, the app is filled with fantastic plantbased recipes. I have to say that Deliciously Ella has helped me a lot in my transition to plantbased eating, they make it look delicious and so easy (which it is btw).
