Salted Caramel Granola

Salted Caramel Granola

This granola is one of my favourites because it is perfectly sweet with a salty touch. It is so good we don't just eat it for breakfast, but also as a snack.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Baking time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

- 1/3 cup or 65 grams of natural date paste

- ¼ cup or 50 grams of coconut oil (melted)

- 2 cups or 200 grams of oats

- 4 tbsp of oat flour

- ¾ cup or 115 grams of seeds and chopped nuts of choice

- 1-2 tsp of sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Celsius
  2. Combine the date syrup with the coconut oil and sea salt and combine
  3. Add in the oats, oat flour and nut/seeds mix
  4. Combine the ingredients well until all the dry ingredients are evenly coated
  5. Spread it out on a baking tray with parchment paper and press down the mixture
  6. Place it in the oven for 20 minutes, stirring the mixture halfway
  7. Let It cool completely before breaking the granola into pieces

How to store? Store in a jar on your countertop for up to 1 week.
